Arizona Desert Wedding at Troon Country Club

The weather in the Arizona desert is ideal for Fall outdoor weddings and we recently had the pleasure of filming at a dream setting, on top of a hill at sunset, with mountains as the backdrop. It also helped that we were working with a very unique and fun couple, Lisa and Daniel. They were married at Troon Country Club, and Sandy Walker of In Awe Weddings, once again added her special touch to make the night one of a kind. The ballroom was impressive on it’s own, but the view of the valley took it over the top. We loved working with Lisa and Daniel, and the great group of vendors at their wedding. Also, a big thanks to everyone for the warm Arizona welcome… we are so excited to meet more new couples as we get ready for 2013.

2012 Wish Upon a Wedding Blissful Wishes Ball at The Chicago Marriott

We were once again thrilled to be a sponsor of the 2012 Wish Upon a Wedding Blissful Wishes Ball at the Chicago Marriott. We have been involved with Wish Upon a Wedding since the first Chicago wish was granted in 2010, and we were also a Wish Granter for the most recent Chicago Wish Upon a Wedding on October 14, 2012.

Wish Upon a Wedding is the world’s first nonprofit wish granting organization providing weddings and vow renewals for couples facing terminal illness and serious life-altering circumstances, regardless of sexual orientation. The organization offers couples a chance to enjoy a very special day, without thoughts of existing health or other serious issues, while surrounded by their closest family and friends. Below is a film we made showcasing the Chicago Chapter of Wish Upon a Wedding, and all the great wish recipients and wish granters who have helped make Wish Upon a Wedding Chicago a huge success.

Scottsdale Wedding at The Boulders

A few months ago we announced that we were in the process of expanding our wedding videography services to the Arizona market. Now we are excited to share that during the first week of October, two of our I Do Films team members packed up their cars and made the 30 hour cross country drive to our new permanent studio location in Phoenix.

Our team in Phoenix had the opportunity to work with an amazing couple, Madison and Casey, in their first full weekend as Phoenix residents. Sandy Walker of In Awe Weddings planned everything to perfection and transformed the already breathtaking Boulders Resort into a wedding wonderland. Working with Sandy and the other great vendors, was the best start we could have hoped for in making our official debut in Arizona. Please take a few minutes to watch the wedding trailer from our Boulders Wedding. Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome for our new I Do Films Arizona team. We were thrilled to have been a part of Madison and Casey’s wedding day and are excited to get to meet more great couples in Arizona.

Chicago Summer Wedding- The Standard Club Wedding Trailer

Lizzy and Brett met in college, and quickly connected with one another. During their first meeting, they started joking around and ended up betting each other who could rap more of the words to the song “Sugar on my Tongue” by Trick Daddy. Lizzy won. They were just friends for two years and then one night at a party, Lizzy looked across the room and saw Brett flirting with some other girl (and realized she didn’t like it). She sent him a text message that said “I think I have a crush on you” and they’ve been together ever since.

Our team at I Do Films instantly bonded with Lizzy and Brett. They are a fun-loving couple, and were so enjoyable to work with. They had a beautiful Summer wedding at The Standard Club in Chicago, and we were thrilled to be a part of their very special day.

engage!12 Mandarin Oriental – Days 2 and 3

It was a race to the finish line to get Days 2 and 3 of engage!12 edited and ready to be shown at the Gala, the final event of The Luxury Wedding Business Summit, on Wednesday evening in Las Vegas. Despite the crazy hours and sleepless nights spent shooting and editing, we had an amazing experience being able to create this film for engage!12. We are so proud of everyone in the wedding and event industry who work tirelessly to keep raising the bar and inspire us all to continue to push our businesses to the next level. Twice a year we attend Engage! The Luxury Wedding Business Summit, and this week the first 2012 event is taking place at the Mandarin Oriental in Las Vegas. Engage! brings together the wedding industry’s key influencers and thought leaders from around the globe to exchange ideas, network and be inspired to take their businesses to the next level of success. After attending Engage! five times, we were so thrilled to be asked to film the conference. Here is the highlight film from day one.

Martha’s Vineyard Wedding Film

Martha’s Vineyard is quickly becoming one of our favorite locations for filming destination weddings. The gorgeous wedding of Alix and Ollie took place at a private home in Menemsha and we were so excited to capture their special day. Alix and Ollie are both very creative, and put a lot of thought into the design and details of their wedding. The wedding film has a combination of vintage Super 8 film and high-defintion digital footage to give it a super romantic feel. Enjoy!
